Wow … I don’t know where to begin with our wedding. It was beautiful. It was absoluely perfect. I wish we could have has everyone join us in Hawaii. We choose the perfect day. That day the sunset was I think one of the most breathtaking sunsets I had ever seen. Make sure you check out the pictures from the wedding. The photographer was amazing and everyone else took wonderful pictures.

We came back and started to adjust to married life and it really is so much fun and so challenging at the same time. But I think things are actually starting to jive and that Scott and are starting to get into a grove. And now things just seem to be working. I won’t lie, it has been a little bit of a challenge, especially with now having to adjust to being married and also having the coolest kid around. I’ve never had kids. So, I went and bought about 3 books on child raising and started reading those and I just have to keep reminding myself to keep those open lines of communication open between Scott.

Well, my 15 minutes is about up at work, which means I can go home and be with the coolest family in the world. I’ll remind myself to keep posting on our website. Also everyone try and remember to check out my blog. There is a lot on there also. We are starting up a vegetable garden and I will update everyone on that progress also. 

We got to Hawaii on Friday evening the 29th, and then spent a few days preparing for the big day. We had to go and rent the tuxes, get the marriage license, review the wedding plans and location. On the 4th, Andrea got to take off for a full day of spa and salon … I went to the beach with my son Sam and my best man Jon. We spent hours out in the waves … which were really coming in strong!

At lunch time Jon, Sam and I headed back for some food and then got cleaned up before heading to the Hilton. We got over there and got dressed in the tuxes, and the weather was perfect! Not too hot … light breeze. We got the pictures going, and then headed to the open lawn by the lagoon. A great setting. The wedding took place about an hour before sunset, so by the time we were through the ceremony and on to pictures the sun was just going down … it worked out perfectly! We’ll be posting more pictures here.

After the photos, we headed up to the KPC restaurant at the Hilton and had a wonderful meal with the families. We got to spend several more days in Hawaii just enjoying ourselves, and finally got back to Utah on Saturday the 8th. We did go skiing the 9th! Beach to slopes in two days!

This weekend we’re doing the honeymoon … or one of them … we’ll be staying on the slopes for a three day ski holiday! Andrea just got new skis and boots … woohoo!

Oh … and Mr. and Mrs. Lemon will be having a reception coming up in April … we’ll be sending out announcements!

Next month (on March 4th, 2008!) we are going to get married in Hawaii.  We’ll post more about that as we get closer.  For most of our friends, who aren’t going to come to Hawaii, we’re going to be holding a reception in the beautiful Heber Valley on April 5th, 2008.
