Sam
Sam just completed his Kindergarten year up at the Soldier Hollow Charter School in Midway and right now is enjoying the summer break.
He enjoys being able to go out and ride a 2 wheeled bike! And he keeps practicing on his skateboard also. Even though he is enjoying the warm weather and being out in the sun, there is an aspect of him where he misses going to the Charter School and seeing his friends everyday. We just keep having to invite his friends over to the house to play with him.
Sam is still patiently waiting for us to finish the Fort in the back yard. It is a slow process but we try and get out there every weekend to get something done.
He also has found a new pet. Since Scott & I haven’t agreed to getting a dog, he has settled for the next best … a Spider. But I have to be honest. I haven’t ever seen someone care for a spider like he does. He has such a big heart when it comes to taking care of the spider and other insects & spiders around us. I told him I had cleaned out another spider web that has begun forming around the kitchen sink window and that I had dusted it again. He said that I should have just left it there so the spider could have had a nice warm home.
