The Fort
Is on HOLD until Spring …
The Fort is a project that Scott started last year and we got interrupted in making too much more progress because of the massive amounts of snow that we received this winter, but now that the snow has melted we are back working hard at it.
Last weekend, we actually started making some progress. We put some more support beams on the Fort. I guess one good thing we came to notice with letting it sit over the winter was that we realized the Fort was not as stable as we would like it to be. And the weather definitely takes a tole on the Fort. We need to reposition 2 of the support beams though. The plans of the Fort are definitely still in the works. And we thought about where the ladder is going to be, it kind of interferes with the support beams. But re-positing them just a bit eliminates that problem.

Oh and that massive ditch in our yard … that is another project that was interrupted by the winter weather.
